The Project: Absolut. Vodka

For this project I was tasked with creating multiple Web Banners for Absolut. Vodka. Early in the planning stage I decided that I wanted the focus of these banners to be off something that I enjoy and am passionate about, so I chose movie/game genres as the theme. Rather than using photoshop to edit my banners, I chose instead to use Adobe Illustrate allowing me to focus more on digital art aspects. I wanted the images to have an old Hollywood cinema vibe, feeling like the old, drawn movie posters that are no longer used.

The inspiration for this poster came from many prominant fantasy titles like The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and The Elder Scrolls series.

Absolut. Horror

The Inspiration for this poster came from many traditional horror movie posters like Friday the 13th, Scream and Halloween.

Absolut. Noir

The Inspiration for this poster came from black and white films from the 30's, 40's and 50's.

Absolut. Action

The Inspiration for this poster came from many modern action films including Mission Impossible, Terminator and the James Bond franchise.

Absolut. Sci-fi

The Inspiration for this poster came from multiple iconic Science fiction films and games like Star Wars and Star Trek.
